In addition to eventually becoming a non-profit, the Alliance has a robust agenda that addresses trash, recycling, and green space maintenance, and they continue to attract new volunteers to their bi-monthly stewardship days. The group is well-placed to address the needs of the changing demographics, and help maintain a park that can take “more traction, more traffic, and still be beautiful and sustainable”.
