Steinwaymansion.org/ music fest will kick off friends of Steinway Mansion fundraising
LONG ISLAND CITY, NY – Sept. 18, 2013 – The Friends of Steinway Mansion announced the Steinway Mansion Music Fest as the inaugural program of its national fundraising effort to purchase, restore and open the Steinway Mansion for public use. The Steinway Mansion Music Fest will bring together a series of local bands and venues to raise awareness and funds for the group’s mission.
The Dru Cutler and The Heart & Hand Band will headline the first event at
SingleCut Beersmiths
(19-33 37th St, Astoria) on Saturday Sept. 28 at 8:00pm.
A launch rally will be held at SingleCut at 6:00pm. All are welcome. The event is free to the public and donations will be accepted to benefit the Friends of Steinway Mansion.
