Community Board 1 Queens will hold a Public Hearing pursuant to the Uniform Land Use Review Process (ULURP) on the Land Use Review Applications for Astoria Cove. The development team will give a presentation of the proposed development, followed by a question and comment period for Board members and the public.
The ULURP actions under review include: rezoning the development site from M1-1 and R6 to R6B, R7-3 and R7A/C2-4; .... Approval of these applications is needed to construct the project.

Briefly, the proposal consists of five (5) buildings, ranging in height from 6 to 32
stories on a site generally bounded by Pot Cove, 9th Street, 27th Avenue and 4th
Street. The mixed-use development would include approximately 1,689 dwelling
units of which 295 units would be affordable; local retail space including a
supermarket; a site for a K-5 elementary school with 456 seats; 900 accessory
parking spaces and a publicly accessible waterfront esplanade.
