Citizens Committee 
Imani Brown, Program Coordinator 
Citizens Committee supports NYC groups by offering micro-grants to help community members build sustainable community solutions. They will be bringing materials for attendees interested in learning more about the resources they offer, and about how they can apply for their 2015 Neighborhood Grant program cycle.
Lawyer’s Alliance

Do you have questions about getting 501(c)3 status, insurance, or other legal matters related to your park group? At this event, Lawyer’s Alliance will be holding FREE 15-minute organizational consultations. Lawyers Alliance is the leading provider of legal services for non profit organizations that are improving the qualiy of life in New York City neighborhoods.

Ethany Utteck, Leader Action Strategist & Partnerships Manager 
Visit the ioby table to learn how you can use online crowdfunding to help build local support and raise funding for your awesome park projects. Within ioby, Ethany focuses on partnership building and outreach to connect with new ioby leaders across the country.
GreenThumb 
Brittany Quale, Project & Design Coordinator 
GreenThumb is the division of NYC Parks that provides programming and material support to over 600 community gardens in New York City. Visit their table to learn about their free workshops, which are the access point for supplies. Workshops are held every month of the year, covering gardening basics to more advanced farming and community organizing topics.
Partnerships for Parks’ Capacity Fund Grant 
Mike Mullaley, Grant Coordinator 
The Partnerships for Parks Capacity Fund Grant helps groups in their outreach, membership, and program-planning capacity through small grants of up to $5000, as well as website and publication creation services. They also provide a fiscal sponsorship program.
Partnerships for Parks’ It’s My Park and Volunteer Programs 
Kate Gluzberg, Project Manager 
Learn about how to join or host a volunteer opportunity in a NYC Park — from painting benches and planting bulbs, to weeding and cleaning, and much more!  We facilitate service projects for companies, schools, and other groups, and also work with park group leaders to see whether a corporate or non-profit volunteer project could be a good fit for your local park.
New Yorkers for Parks 
Emily Walker, Director of Outreach & Programs 
Learn about exciting resources from New Yorkers for Parks including The Daffodil Project, independent research on NYC Parks including their new City Council District Profiles, and support on how to best work with your elected officials.
