Participatory Budgeting

During the week of April 13-19 any resident of this district will have the opportunity to vote on how to spend $1 Million on community improvement projects throughout the neighborhood.

Constantinides Unveils Participatory Budgeting Ballot

Astoria, N.Y. - Residents of the 22nd Council District will have the opportunity to vote on how to spend $1 Million on projects throughout the neighborhood. They will get to choose their favorite five out of a ballot of eighteen project proposals.

What happens when?



Project Expos: February-March 2015  Delegates present draft project proposals to the community and get feedback, with which they revise the projects. 
Community Vote: March-April 2015  Residents vote on which projects to fund at voting sites throughout the district.
