New York Cares Day Spring is on Saturday, April 18th.
Here's the schedule for the day:
9:30 a.m. Registration
10:00 a.m. Park and Garden Revitalization
Clean-up
2:00 p.m. Thank You, and goodbyes
GIVE PARKS and GARDENS a LIFT
4,000 volunteers. 70 New York City parks and gardens. One day.
Take part in New York City's largest hands-on spring cleaning event and join more than 4,000 volunteers to revitalize our city’s public outdoor spaces. On Saturday, April 18th, we will clean up shorelines, restore garden beds, plant flowers and trees, paint benches, and remove invasive species. By the end of the day, 70 parks and community gardens in all five boroughs will be transformed.
