Take your yoga practice out for some sun!

TYR has been bringing yoga into the great outdoors for the past 5 years, and this year is better than ever! Gantry Plaza State Park & Astoria Park provide an inspiring Manhattan backdrop as we flow through energizing vinyasas to the breeze of the river.

This is a fun (and FREE!) seasonal opportunity to bring your yoga practice to the outdoors and enjoy the beauty of the city. These special events happen once per month during the warm season, so grab your friends and bring a mat, comfy clothes, and the desire to move smile & shine in the open air. Beginners welcome!

Building a Community Starts in the Park #QEDAPA

"Volunteers are the heart and soul of New York City’s parks. From gardening to programming, the contribution of volunteers is essential to sustaining our valuable parks. Volunteers are essential to enhancing the quality of life.

Partnership for Parks, a joint program of NYC Parks and the City Parks Foundation, is proud to work with volunteers in all five boroughs. Devoted community groups, such as the Astoria Park Alliance, are the unsung heroes of New York City’s parks.

Their efforts complement ours in providing New Yorkers with parks that are clean, green, and thriving."
